In term three our Big Idea was focused on the Olympics. We had three topics that related to the Olympics. The three topics were History, Geography and Economics.
My task for History was to make a video on the Olympics and update and show what has happened in the past Olympics and it’s called the London update. In the video it will also show you what’s happening at the London 2012 Olympics. In the video we focus on some countries and tell you what their past History at the summer Olympics and winter Olympics.

For Geography i did a map of London and where all the events are held and how far away from each other they are. The map also shows some of the main attractions in Olympic park. The events that are not held at Olympic park are shown up the top of the poster.

For Economics i am doing two posters. For the first one i have done what countries pay their athletes for winning a medal at the Olympics some countries pay a lot of money. For the second poster i am doing what
different cities pay to host the Olympics from 1980-2012.

This term i have learnt to use my time better and get more stuff done in the expected time. This will be on display on 11th of September. Ii think that this term i will look much better. I think my presentation will be great this term and it should look really good.

The order that i completed this in was doing my Olympic update first because i knew this would take the longest. The second thing i did was the map of London because that would be the least amount of time. The last one was the how much money countries pay the athletes that will take a lot of time as well but it should get finished in time before it is time for the expo. All this work took most of my big idea sessions some was done at home but i think my time was used wisely.
